Each of the 2 gites was originally part of the working farm. Fully renovated and updated in 2007/08, the gites
retain their rural character but have the modern comforts you would hope for to make the ideal holiday accommodation.
In addition, we provide each new arrival with a welcome pack of groceries such as milk, bread etc. And a few
little surprises as well.
La Bergerie
This gite was originally the sheepshed and stands alone in the grounds. Renovation work was planned to retain as
many original features as possible including the colombage-type wall finish typical of the area, solid oak beams and stable
door. However, the bathroom and kitchen are firmly 21st century and the furnishings chosen to be comfortable and sympathetic
to the style of the building.
For the cooler spring and autumn evenings guests can light the wood-burning stove or take advantage of the electric
heating. The private patio is ideal for those long summer evenings or lazy afternoons.
L'Etable
L'etable was once part of the farm storage buildings and is attached to, but not part of, the main house.
The interior is less rustic than the Bergerie and is furnished and equipped to the same high standard.
One entrance to this gite leads onto its own patio which, in turn, leads to the outdoor pool. Roughly the same
floor size as the Bergerie, L'etable has a larger shower room but slightly smaller lounge area.
